At-Home visits · Logan Village & surrounds

The vet who drives out
to Logan Village.

An at home vet Logan Village properties can book without the trek: we drive out to Logan Village, Wolffdene, Cedar Creek, and the acreage in between. Out here the maths is simple — one vet driving to you beats loading dogs into the ute, and pets who've never much left the property get examined right where they live.

Acreage animals,
seen properly.

Acreage pets live good lives and rough schedules — dogs with jobs, cats on their own payroll, vaccinations that slide because town is a trip. A home visit resets it: everyone examined, vaccinated, and up to date in one hit, on the verandah, without a single animal leaving the property.

Dogs & cats — that's our lane

One honest note for acreage families: we care for dogs and cats only — no horses, goats, or poultry. For the dogs and cats, though, everything routine comes to you.

The clinic's closer than town

For surgery, X-rays, or dental, our Ormeau clinic is a straightforward run down — often closer than you'd think from the Village.

"I have taken my dogs to My Kind of Vet for several years now. Every visit I continue to be impressed with the level of care and kindness shown. My thoughts and concerns are always heard and I value that."

Logan Village questions,
answered.

How far out from Logan Village do you travel?

Logan Village, Wolffdene, Cedar Creek, Buccan, and the acreage pockets around them are within our range from Ormeau. If you're further out, call anyway — we'll tell you straight — and it's the same flat home-visit fee wherever we reach, travel included, no distance surcharge.

Do you treat horses or farm animals?

No — we care for dogs and cats only, and we'd rather tell you plainly than waste your time. For horses and livestock you'll want an equine or mixed-practice vet; for every dog and cat on the place, we're yours.

My cat is semi-feral and impossible to catch. Any advice?

A familiar one out here. Shut them in a room or shed an hour or two before we arrive (food helps), and we'll handle the rest gently — no chasing, no drama. If confinement's genuinely impossible, call and we'll plan something together before the visit.
