Senior pets, twice a year

From about seven for dogs and ten for cats, twice-yearly checks catch the quiet things early — arthritis, kidneys, teeth, hearts. All checkable at your kitchen table, bloods included.

How a home visit
works.

1.Call or book. Tell us your suburb and what's going on — it's one flat home-visit fee — travel included, with no distance surcharge wherever you are.
2.We come to you. The vet examines your pet wherever they're comfortable — the couch, the kitchen floor, the backyard. Unhurried, always.
3.Follow-up sorted. Medications, results, and any next steps arranged before we leave — and if clinic care is ever needed, our Ormeau clinic picks it up seamlessly.

Completely — that's exactly what our At-Home visits are for. Examinations, vaccinations, blood tests, and senior checks all happen at your home in Mermaid Beach or Mermaid Waters, and we'll set up a regular rhythm so nothing gets missed. No car needed, ever.

How often should my older pet be checked?

Twice a year once dogs reach about seven and cats about ten. Pets age quickly, and six-monthly checks — with bloods and blood pressure where appropriate — catch changes while there's the most we can do about them. We'll remind you when it's due.

Do you also cover Broadbeach and Nobby Beach?

Yes — Mermaid Beach, Mermaid Waters, Broadbeach, Broadbeach Waters, and Nobby Beach are all covered, at the same flat home-visit fee as anywhere, travel included, with no distance surcharge.
